The goal of this study was to examine the relationships among vocational maturity and irrational career beliefs. A total of 351 high school students participated in the study. The Vocational Maturity Scale and Irrational Career Beliefs Scale were used to collect data. Regression analysis, Pearson Moment Correlations and t test were used to analyze the data. The results showed that vocational maturity has negative and moderate level correlation with irrational career beliefs. Regression analysis indicated that the gender and irrational career beliefs were found the most significant predictors of vocational maturity. It was also found that irrational career beliefs accounted for 12% of total variances of vocational maturity, but there were no significant gender differences on vocational maturity.
