Provenance of dissolved load is determined using Sm and Nd isotopes from limestones. Mass balance estimations demonstrate sourcing from up to 3000 km away. Silurian Sm and Nd isotopes suggest mixing of Canadian Shield and Acadian Orogen. Devonian isotopes suggest mixing of Canadian Shield, Acadian Orogen and ophiolites. Trans-Laurentian transport via eolian and fluvial processes, and seawater currents.
