Simple ultrasonic-assisted production of glassy carbon nanoparticles is introduced. “Rosette” reactor can afford nanoparticles contrary to cylindrical reactor. The average size of the afforded particles is closely related to the sonication time. Subsequent prepared suspensions are stable up to several weeks. Long sonication time brings physical and chemical changes to the irradiated material.
