The integrated T. orientalis-T. tubifex-substrate-microbes SFCWs is investigated. The T. tubifex added SFCWs significantly enhance TN and TP removal from wastewater. Bioturbation with T. tubifex provides sufficient carbon source for denitrification. Increased particulate and colloidal P by T. tubifex promoting P removal in SFCWs.
