Understanding the performance of microbial community induced by ZnO nanoparticles in enhanced biological phosphorus removal system and its recoverability
ZnO NPs (above 2 mg/L) could seriously deteriorate the performance of EBPR system. The microbial community structure in the EBPR system was largely changed by ZnO NPs. Competibacter was more sensitive than Accumulibacter after exposure to 2 mg/L ZnO NPs. Accumulibacter had stronger recoverability compared with Competibacter.
