SAH can induce acute cerebral hypoperfusion that may lead to devastating outcome. Acute MIL increases CO to restore global CBF depression early after SAH. MIL prevents the occurrence of DCI and related neurobehavioral worsening. Neurocardiac protection with MIL promotes recovery from post-SAH early brain injury.
