A sample of ∼9500 signal events was selected from a data set of 1.7 fb⁻¹ of 2" class="mathmlsrc">2.0-S0370269316300880&_mathId=si2.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269316300880&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=47dfe6b7647c9b0e02ebda0b4f9b2d6e" title="Click to view the MathML source">e⁺e⁻ collisions at 2.0-S0370269316300880&_mathId=si3.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269316300880&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=293c28ad84e2329ac07cf3b8c363bfb3">2.0-S0370269316300880-si3.gif">$\sqrt{s}\sim m_{\varphi }$ collected at the DAΦNE 2" class="mathmlsrc">2.0-S0370269316300880&_mathId=si2.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269316300880&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=47dfe6b7647c9b0e02ebda0b4f9b2d6e" title="Click to view the MathML source">e⁺e⁻ collider. These events were used to perform the first measurement of the transition form factor 2.0-S0370269316300880&_mathId=si4.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269316300880&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=139ce0073b8a454506ced6f69a4f1cbb" title="Click to view the MathML source">|F_ϕπ⁰(q²)|$|F_{\varphi {\pi }^0}(q^{\mathrm{<font\; color="red">2</font>}})|$ and a new measurement of the branching ratio of the decay: 2.0-S0370269316300880&_mathId=si5.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269316300880&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=8a1407c859b8f36a5d8a268b61697a5b">283" alt="View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="/sd/grey_pxl.gif" data-inlimgeid="1-s2.0-S0370269316300880-si5.gif">. The result improves significantly on previous measurements and is in agreement with theoretical predictions.
