Differentiation of the primary hydroxyl groups in 2,3,3′,4,4′-penta-O-benzylscurose is proposed. Simple synthesis of various macrocyclic derivatives with sucrose scaffold. Synthesis of macrocyclic bis-lactam containing sucrose unit in the structure.
