Hydrogen was produced via catalytic decomposition of H2S. Reaction temperature range was 600–1000 °C at 1 atm. Conversion of H2S was found to be 14% for LaCrO3 at 750 °C. Highest conversions of ∼35–36% attained with LaCoO3 and LaSrO3 at 950 °C. Non-catalytic conversion obtained at 900 °C was 5.5%.
