SLPs provided multiple-component reading interventions in sub-acute rehabilitation. Reading rehabilitation involved impairment, activity and strategy-based interventions. Reading strategies were heavily used by SLPs for ABI reading rehabilitation. Broad similarities were found between clinical practice and the literature.
