STZ (ICV) microinjection induces memory deficit in mice through hippocampal CysLT1R upregulation. shRNA-mediated knockdown of CysLT1R reverses STZ-induced memory impairment. Pranlukast, a CysLT1R antagonist, reverses STZ-induced neuroinflammation by blocking NF-κB signaling.
