Nanofiller embedded into PMMA cross-linked by trimethylolpropane triacrylate. Cross-linking can improve the thermal stability and char yield of existing nanocomposites. Enhanced thermal stability, with 100 °C increase to on-set of degradation. Increased char yield, resulting in reduced heat released and formation of a protective char barrier. Cross-linking and nanofiller content work together, providing benefits over either separately.
