A new method for translating complex geometry to EnergyPlus (E+) is proposed. Planarization algorithms parse a parametric model for E+ and digital fabrication. An evolutionary goal oriented process uses the new method for energy optimization. In a single goal oriented design workflow is possible to automatically derive a parametric an E+ model. The gap between conceptual, energy, and construction model is mitigated.
