Mice fed a chow, refined carbohydrate, or two types of obesogenic diets were studied. Serum fatty acid composition was evaluated by gas chromatography. Inflammatory state of the periaortic adipose tissue and thoracic aorta were evaluated. Obesogenic dietary effects are different when compared with chow or refined diets.
