Neuropsychiatric symptoms and behavioural disturbances are frequent in patients with Parkinson's disease. Health related quality of life estimates the impact of a condition on the patient. Neuropsychiatric disorders severely affect health-related quality of life. The present review summarizes and updates current knowledge on the topic.
