Ceramic bodies were produced from two mixtures of kaolin-bauxite -talc. The mixture with great quantity of talc led to ceramic bodies that were made up of cordierite as major new mineral. The mixture with great quantity of kaolin and low amount of talc led to cordierite and mullite as major new minerals. The fired bodies exhibited both good ceramic and dielectric characteristics.
