SrMnO3/La0.7Sr0.3MnO3/SrMnO3 heterostructures were grown by Molecular Beam Epitaxy. Structural quality and interface sharpness is proven by x-ray characterization. Ultrathin layers of 4.5 unit cells show the typical metal-to-insulator transition. Ginzburg-Landau theory explains the thickness dependence of critical temperature.
