DEM simulation of Nauta blender is performed for the first time. Flow pattern is studied using streamlines, tracers and velocity vectors. Effects of sweeping and primary velocities and impeller diameter are studied. A maximum is observed in the effect of sweeping velocity on the mixing rate. Impeller diameter and primary rotation have straight relation with Lacey index.
