A detection methodology is presented that is able to preserve spatial and temporal correlations in water distribution systems. A Multi-Site Event Detection Systems (MSEDS) is presented that is based on an integrated, physically based hydraulic simulator. MSEDS are shown to perform better than single site EDS in a case study example.
