Traffic-related air pollution and hyperactivity/inattention, dyslexia and dyscalculia in adolescents of the German GINIplus and LISAplus birth cohorts

Few studies have examined the link between air pollution and neurodevelopment. PM2.5 mass and absorbance were associated with hyperactivity in German adolescents. No consistent associations were found with dyslexia or dyscalculia. Traffic-related air pollution may adversely affect neurodevelopment.
