We present a comprehensive U–Pb zircon geochronology data set on the Faja Eruptiva granitoids in NW Argentina.
The age of the latest and main intrusive pulse is constrained to 444 Ma.
Hf isotope data indicate significant crustal recycling and shed light on the unknown basement.
The granitoids intruded in a sinistral strike-slip regime connected to the Oclóyic orogeny
