The response of broilers during three periods of growth to dietary valine

Three trials were conducted separately in the initial, grower and finisher phase.

Valine for performance and body composition were estimated from broken-line models.

Results indicate recommendation of digestible valine is 226; 637; 1231 mg/bird/day.
