The emission of Ca2(Ca2x/3In1−xNbx/3)NbO6:Eu3+ covered the whole visible spectral region, resulting in a white light emission.
The luminescence color could be tuned by the doping concentration of Eu3+ and the value of x.
The intensity ratio of blue emission (5D3→7F2) to the red emission (5D0→7F2) increased with decrease in the value of x.
