The Uludað two-mica granites show high Na2O, CaO and Sr, and lower K2O and Rb contents relative to the S-type granites. Their Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic characteristics require a compositionally mixed source. Water-fluxed partial melting of a mafic metagreywacke at lower crustal depths seems likely.
