HyperCast: a framework for wireless hyperspectral image communication. A new hyperspectral band ordering algorithm is presented. The band ordering process improves image quality by 1.3 dB on average. A 1D low-complexity KLT is used in the compression process. Improving the average image quality in broadcasting by 3.48–6.98 dB. HyperCast achieves up to 6.14 dB gain over the conventional framework.
