Micro-textures and oxide films were produced on the surfaces of the TC4 alloy.

The friction properties and wear mechanisms at room temperature were studied.

The tribological property was significantly improved by the LST combined with TO.

Micro-textures lead to the enhanced adhesion and reduced internal stress of films.

The oxidized surface exhibits good load bearing capacity and anti-wear ability.
