TSC2 protects glioblastoma from PDT-induced cell death. Specific TSC2 S1254 phosphorylation by MK2 mediates a pro-survival autophagy. Pro-death kinase RIP3 forms a complex with TSC2 and 14-3-3 proteins. RIP3 interferes with TSC2 pro-survival mechanisms.
