Structural damage detection in the presence of spatially distributed random parameter. Cracked rod Spectral Element including distributed random parameters. Non-Gaussian random field expanded by KL expansion via memoryless transformation. Explicit equation to assess damage developed based on the mathematical SEM. This technique allows detect the damage by using direct dynamic structure response. Technique improves the control over the numerical model under stochastic environment.
