Twelve amyloid beta (Aβ) peptides electrochemical oxidation The Aβ redox residues are: Tyr10, His6, His13, His14 and Met35. Human Aβ1–40 and Aβ1–42 undergo oxidation in two steps. First step corresponds to Tyr10 and the second step to His6, His13, His14 and Met35. Tyr10 and His13 had the stronger contribution to Aβ peptides oxidation.
