Waste from industrialized cassava bagasse and peelings were used to produce nanofibers. The influence of process conditions (sulfuric acid concentration and temperature) on the properties of the nanofibers was investigated. Cellulose nanofibers obtained from both raw materials were characterized. Long nanofibers with small diameter and high zeta potential were produced.
