This is the first study of the Spiritist “passe” therapy in cardiovascular inpatients. The Spiritist “passe” reduced anxiety level and muscle tension, and improved oxygenation and the sensation of well-being. Clinical trials exploring the effects of the Spiritist “passe” on the cellular field are needed.
