A drying performance analysis of a condensing tumbler clothes dryer with a unique water cooled heat exchanger was conducted. Effects of different working conditions on the hygrothermal performance of the novel heat exchanger were discussed. Effects of airflow velocity on the drying performance is more significant than that of cooling water flow rate. The drying performance is improved in a larger airflow velocity and cooling water flow rate.
