Kinetic study of amino acids inhibition potential of Glycine and l-leucine on the ethane hydrate formation

The experiments of ethane hydrate formation were performed with amino acids of Glycine and l-leucine.

Glycine is introduced as a stronger inhibitor than l-leucine due to lower hydrophobicity.

A macroscopic model was introduced to describe the kinetic behavior of hydrate.

The parameters of model were optimized for each experiment in presence of inhibitors.

The acceptable agreement was found between the experimental and predicted data.
