LC-QTOFMS used for wide-scope screening of pharmaceutical metabolites in wastewater. A notable number of metabolites/TPs identified in Athens urban treated wastewater. TPs identified in laboratory degradation experiments also found in wastewater. A customized database with more than 450 PIDs TPs built and used for this study. Common fragmentation pathway strategy allowed detecting additional/unexpected TPs.
