Magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles induced effects on performance and microbial community of activated sludge from a sequencing batch reactor under long-term exposure
Long-term exposure of high Fe3O4 NPs concentration affected the SBR performance. Fe3O4 NPs could obviously impact on the microbial enzymatic activity of SBR. The variation of microbial enzymatic activity accorded with pollutant removal rate. High Fe3O4 NPs concentration increased the ROS and LDH of activated sludge. The microbial community of SBR was analyzed at different Fe3O4 NPs concentrations.
