The mutant DSR-S1-ΔA was constructed by deleting 1494 bp fragment of DSR-dex-YG. DSR-S1-ΔA enzyme heavily impaired polysaccharide synthesis ability. DSR-S1-ΔA produced more oligosaccharides of lower DP with different acceptors. DSR-S1-ΔA improved the selection range of acceptors to acceptor response. It has a great contribution and research value to the transglycosylation.
