pcDNA-GPx was constructed by inserting GPx gene into pcDNA3.1 (+) plasmid. RPS of fish vaccinated with the DNA vaccine against V. harveyi was 77.5%. pcDNA-GPx distributed in the head kidney, liver, spleen, gill and injected muscle. Antibody titers in the serum of the immunized fish were 25.0 to 212.3. GPx can be used as a candidate DNA vaccine for the control of vibriosis.
