Value upgradation of Citronella essential oil via in situ enrichment with rose oxide. Convenient, safe, and scalable chemical processing at low cost investments. Transformed oil has percentage of rose oxide higher than any know essential oil. Transformed oil exhibited a peroxide value (POV) of 2.4 consistent with AOCS regulations.
