Metal/semiconductor-polymer nanocomposite thin film fabricated by a simple in situ process. Highly efficient plasmonic photocatalyst with low power visible light irradiation. Several reuses via physical retrieval and reinsertion of the ‘dip catalyst’. Facile monitoring of the catalyst to unravel its state through recycle runs.
