Reduction of nitrate was investigated by NaY zeolite supported Fe, Cu/Fe and Mn/Fe nano particles. Significant reduction for nitrate is achieved by metal@Y. Cu/Fe@Y displays higher N2 selectivity than other materials. The pseudo first-order and nth-order kinetic models provide good descriptions for nitrate reduction.
