A blue transparent lambda-trititanium-pentoxide (λ-Ti3O5) film was prepared. The λ-Ti3O5 film is oriented; the (110) plane parallel to the plane of the substrate. Dielectric constants for λ-Ti3O5 were determined by spectroscopic ellipsometry. Refraction index and extinction coefficient for λ-Ti3O5 were also determined.
