Multiferroic property, dielectric response, and scaling behavior in Aurivillius Bi4.25Gd0.75Fe0.5Co0.5Ti3O15 ceramic

XPS results indicate the Co ions exist in the form of both 2+ and 3+. The substitution of Gd3+ can effectively enhance the ferromagnetic property. The magnetic and ferroelectric Curie temperature is 370 K and 1088 K, respectively. Four thermally activated dielectric relaxations in 10 K–1000 K are observed. Scaling behavior implies the dynamic process of electron is temperature independent.
