In this paper, a simulation investigation of a plasmonic three-dimensional array is presented.

The absorption characteristics and the nanosensing is studied.

Fabry-Perot and localized surface plasmon resonance leads to absorption peaks.

The absorption spectra dependence on the environmental refractive index.

The results may have application in nanosensing and plasmonic absorption switching.
