Sericin microcapsules fabricated in a self-assembled way without any additives. The arrangement of silica colloids on the sericin microcapsules are orchestrated through altering the reaction parameters. Organic-inorganic structure of the microcapsules led to increasing Mechanical properties. DOX-loaded hybrid colloidosomes is stimulate-responsive to the external environments. The hybrid colloidosomes is the promising candidate material for drug delivery system.
