The pomegranate-like porous CuxSny/Sn/SnO2/C submicrospheres were synthesized. The capacity of CuxSny/Sn/SnO2/C submicrospheres was 604 mAh g−1 after 150 cycles. After 150 cycles, CuxSny/Sn/SnO2 submicrospheres could maintain the initial structure. Multi-strategies were adopted to improve the performance of the anode materials.
