A recycled rubber membrane reinforced with HDPE particles has been developed. HDPE particles distribution, mechanical and thermal behaviour of membranes were analysed. Tensile properties of membranes under different environmental conditions were evaluated. HDPE particles formed channels affecting the physical and mechanical properties of the membranes. HDPE particles increased the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of the membranes.
