The genotoxic potential of DMH was evaluated by various in vivo genotoxicity tests. Single administration of 25, 50, 100 mg/kg DMH to male rats was conducted for tests. DMH did not induce time- or dose-related increases in Pig-a MFs. DMH showed positive responses in both bone marrow MN test and liver comet assay. DMH provides different genotoxicity outcomes depending on the endpoint.
