Nutritional responses to soil drying and rewetting cycles under partial root-zone drying irrigation

文摘
With the same degree of water saving, partial root-zone drying irrigation outweighs deficit irrigation in enhancing water use efficiency and also in most cases N or P uptake. Microbial processes play a crucial role in enhancing soil nutrient mineralization and thus high soil nutrient bioavailability for plant uptake under PRI. The soil processes as affected by PRI induced drying and rewetting cycles have been analyzed.
