Corrosion protection was improved in presence of Polyaniline nano particles. PANs could oxidize the steel and shift the steel potential to passive state. OCP, polarization and SKP measurements confirm the passivation of steel. Volta potential coefficient of variations (CV) was introduced as a key index. CV of Volta potential was used for assessing corrosion uniformity beneath coatings.
