Software industry led Scrum to the cutting-edge of software engineering education.

We designed teaching strategies based on the Felder–Silverman learning style model.

We applied the strategies in a Scrum course and analyzed the learning outcomes.

The analysis is based on two controlled experiments carried out in 2013 and 2014.

Students’ outcomes improved when receiving the suitable teaching strategy.
